Case Study Twenty five

This kitchen had to be both practical and aesthetically pleasing as our clients are serious cooks. They chose for their Bentley kitchen - wild ash with walnut reeded pilasters for a glamorous yet classic look and this was complimented by tan brown granite worktop. As they are tall we raised the worktop and wall cupboards to make it more comfortable for them to cook. The kitchen was designed to make the most of the room's natural symmetry and the inclusion of curved cabinet doors and drawers softens the look. A large island provides extensive storage and some of the other design features include pull out trays, a 40 bottle wine storage and storage for herbs and oils cleverly hidden in the pillars of the mantelpiece.
